you said play bike. i wouldnt change it. drag porting you will have more topend but not at much down low. cub yeah more power but again cost and be lot of top end.

sounds like your not wanting a play bike anymore.

I guess i'll just have to accept the sacrifice of losing some low-end to get more of a drag bike. I don't wanna mess with a 4mm stocker now b/c the cyls. I have now can't be ported for a 4mm and i don't wanna fuck with selling these and trying to find some new decent ones and all that crap.

ok, I'm lost now....You said you were planning on selling your stockers to build this in the first place??? My vote for the type of riding you are describing is also a 4mm dune ported setup or 4mm aggressive dune port, you will be able to hang right with a stock stroke cub and have more down low due to the increased stroke so it would be a better play bike. And, for @the same $$$.

I don't think a 4mm dune ported motor would ever hang with a stock stroke cub, at least not the 2 that my buddies have built.

What I said is if I decide to do a 4mm stock cylinder bike the one's I have won't work so I'll have to sell the ones I have and find some new ones, find a 4mm crank, and pay for all new porting...which sucks cuz you never get your money back on porting, plus the waiting time...etc.

Otherwise I could just sell the ones I have, get a cub, bolt it on and go.

I'm confused myself because I've read alot of replies from guys that say cubs don't have any less bottom-end then a stocker it's just the powerband comes in later and hits so much harder.

Thats wierd, we have several stock cylinder port jobs beating or hanging with Cubs! And we also have built some 421 CUBS with good bottom end. The wait time is a factor on stock cylinders but some things are worth the wait!!

lol , Or you could just buy my Raptor and have it all!!

just call jeff up and order the cub !! for real.. u ride with austin and crew..

im sure ur gon to be like me and say f - it.. i need a full drag bike. i tryed to hang on to my ported cylns.. but i new it was time to go with a cub.i drag race more on the rivers like u all do.. it seems like the bikes just keep on getting faster, so my own .02 would be go with the cub

jeff.. i thought u sold the raptor.. somebody needs to buy that !! if i had the extra cash, it would be sitting in my garage

I will be the first one to say it. I am deathly afraid, i mean skeered.

Will you trade for a whole, freshly, hickory smoked pork loin?

Go on and get yourself a set of cub cylinders, okbeast.

Well I've got a few hits from some guys with 421 setups that might like to trade, so I guess throw that in the pot too

I'm guessing the 4mil on the cub will help out some with the bottom end. And I'm running a ton of compression as well so I think this would help some too.

Hm, a 421 play bike  :ermm:
