shanYE west Posted April 16, 2008 Report Share Posted April 16, 2008 I found that a good set of boyessen Pro series reeds work great on stock and mild motors (and helps keep the price down). I have heard that the V-Force 2 reed valves were better than the 3, is this true? Also, since I will be going with the V-Force 3 reed's do I need a spacer as well, if so how thick? Someone on here dyno'd a nasty engine with and without a spacer. I think he got .25hp out of it. And that was with a bad ass engine. Most of what I've seen, is people use them only to make their carbs clear the clutch thing-a-ma-bob on top of the engine. (Sorry, brainfart. Animalman294 Posted April 18, 2008 Report Share Posted April 18, 2008 If I remember correctly they are not even making the V-force Delta II's anymore. You can still get the reeds for the cages, but I don't think you can get the cages anymore unless someone stock piled them when they were getting close to the end of their run on the Delta II's and may still have some on the shelves...............
