dajogejr
Not sound stupid but Can they be ported to get low end torque. Thanks EZ NO...it would be a total waste of the cylinder. Get your stockers ported if you're looking for low end. Purpose built bike....if you want low end, keep stockers.
2001Stroker
Yep, in your case, it would be bolt on and go. All you need is the 58x68 cub monoblock and you are in business. Perhaps different domes for your head depending on what you have now and where you want to go, but you already have the 4mil bottom end so you could be rockin in no time and probably less than $1000. Sweet. So I could just throw my VF3's, intakes, carbs, FMF's, and Coolhead right on it. Buy some new pistons, rings, and wristpins, and call it a day. My sig has my engine mods. Would it be worth me buying a cub? What's all tha advantages/disadvantages of having one?

Yeah, you could put everything you have on a Cub... I'd get rid of the pipes and do with some CPI or Shearers, but if you really wanted to, you could run your FMF's... I think Dave had T5's on a Cub at one time. I would look into a Lockup with a new clutch, and some upgrades to your trans though. The advantages are endless... Tons more power, etc... The disadvantages would be that the banshee is no longer trail bike. It's more of a dune/drag bike. I loved my 421 4mil Cub. It was a great runner, and one hell of a dune bike. I'm really looking forward to my 14mil Cub now.
tithead
would a cheetah be suitable for street legal use? doesn't have to be a cub, but a mono block.
jmd0346
With my setup what kind of hp numbers would I be looking at with a Cub? I know you cant be exact but round about numbers. Id be keeping my carbs, reeds, filters, pistons, domes, intake etc... Id go with CPI or Shearers.
Animalman294
Ya, I am runnin' the T-5's now and it hauls the mail, but when I put on the Shearer's and maybe 39 carbs (not sure if I want the bigger carbs though) it will definately wake up the motor............ Blownyel93
Your right, once you start, where do you stop?.........here is the rule I follow, get the bike fast enough to beat all your friends you ride with. That way if you get passed like your in reverse by a stranger on a tricked out Shee, you can still turn to your homies and say "STFU, I can still beat you"...lol... That is the funniest shit ever.................
