floyd398
I ordered a set of quicksand arms about 4 months ago and gary has given me the run around about chrome problems and other bullshit for a while. I'm probably cancelling the order today if I can actually get him to call back or email me and want to get something else. I'm favoring roll design first off. I know they are expensive but do they offer a lifetime warranty? Also Does anyone know if they can be made with all chrome upper and lowers. The other 2, Laeger's and Lonestar both look pretty good too but I don't see any prices online for Laeger's. I ride some motocross and othe that that I would say cross country riding. Any comments on any of the three including Design, warranty, any reaming of spindles needed, good or bad comments. Thanks
endofitall9
Lonestars IMO Overpriced! Laegers I think they only makes +2 and not the +2+1(someone correct me if I'm wrong) Roll - bad ass arms if you get the LOBO 2 front end but its wayyyy expensive...Also i'll throw out Janssen MX Tech Arms they have a liftime warranty ( I just got mine in today and I'm way impressed). also if you dont want to dish out that much money check out Wickeds... Michael Jackson
armadillo's come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects *meaning you cant roll it down a mountain and then ask for new ones*, but if anything breaks, rocky mountain will replace it no questions asked, ive already held them to it on 2 brand new balljoints ,even though i got in a crash and it was my fault, i said they just "bent" haha, they stil overnighted me 2 for free,no big deal, so if you decide to go for lower priced ones than the roll and all those *($500 or less), id highly recommend them, they are like $480, silver vein p coat on arms and rods, +2 +1, all chromoly, and the only +2 a arms ive seen for the banshee that they make skid plates for, $70 more, well worth it, id have to say they are alot better quality than alot of the other bargain a-arms on ebay and around
zach45
ASR all the way... what i have lifetime blah blah blah.. i have +3+1 with SS brakes lines and upgraded tie rods /w ends for 530 joey(wackko) fliped his bike and bent an a arm and mike sent him a new one no problem
rubberneck
Screw ASR. They suck. Their customer service blows if it isn't a simple problem
BansheeKid15
i also have to say i dont know about ASR, 2 weekends ago at pismo, my buddy rolled his banshee because he broke a tie rod end from them...
floyd398
well I've had $675 out for the quicksand arms for a while now so when I get that refunded I'm willing to put down as much as $1400 on rolls, Are they the Roll Design lobos that you're talking about that cost 1400? I went to the web site and it only shows non chromed arms. I'm guessing the rolls don't come with a warranty also? The jansen arms sound good though. Do you have any pics Endo? Can you get them all chromed from the factory? How much also for a complete set +2+1? I would rather spend the money and get a good set of arms that's why I went with quicksand but his customer service...all I can say is AWFUL! Thanks
floyd398
Did a little more research on janssen's and you can't beat the price. You say they're lifetime warranty? Looks like a great buy and 2 different chrome options too. As soon as I get my refund from quicksand I think I'm gonna pick up a set. endofitall9
I debated a long time on what I wanted and read around on here and noticed that some of the guys on here (meat) (rnbrad) were running them! I've read meat rides really fuckin hard...so I looked into them and finally broke down and ordered them. I just got them in the other day and opened them up. I havnt assebled them yet but I was amzed these damn things are beefy. I see why Janssen has a lifetime warrany because, I don't ever see these things bending..lol they are thick and very nice looking...I paid $700 shipped for the +2+1 Mx tech arms with the 450r style tierods.....I orderd mine from Corey hes a good guy and will set ou up plus he'll call you if something is going to take longer..I received mine 2 days earlier than what Corey had told me...It's a shame obout quicksand...they really did used to be nice arms....they're only as good as their customer service.... floyd398
I'm getting a refund if I can get a hold of gary. Sometimes he calls in a week, sometimes it can take up to a month to hear from him. I'm def going with the jannsen's though. Thanks again for the info brother. It was a big help.

Washburn
I like the Lonestar +2+1 racing a arms over the Jans they seem to be a bit more beefy and I like the overall construction of the arms better thats way I went with them to me. Lagers dont offer +1 forward and Roll Design is for someone with an unlimited budget.
NOS_350x
Why pay jansen there markup, buy them direct from the guys who make them. It will be cheaper, One thing tho, make shure they will tell you you get a lifetime warrenty. http://fireball-racing.com/

NOS_350x
how much are they from fireball? Dont quote me on the price, call for yourself. but i think they are 450 for the heim joint and 550 for the balljoint. Call for yourself and ask and let us know what they tell you.
