work shocks how can i make them shorter

Yeah... I'd call them up... They are here in the Valley. You could always drive over there and check out different sizes. You might have to re-valve them though. The loss of spring height might put added stress on the valves.

just changing spring WILL NOT work!!!

 

 

you need to shorten the internal shaft length, install spacers on it, or install a shorter shock eyelet.

Really? I did that to my TCS shocks on my YFZ450 with no problems. The way you listed above whould be more expensive then buying new shocks. The Steelers are cheap, and the shocks are on a drag bike. I think I'd try new springs before I'd buy new shocks, or more expensively completely rebuild.
