xXBlessedWithDeathXx
I would be happy with them plugs but it looks as if you can go a little leaner. i never ran c12 so i`m not 100% sure on that but the plug says you can. is that red tint from running hot or the fuel? dajogejr
Those pics don't mean anything... Here's how to tell if you can lean the main out or not...those plugs could be rich on the needle, lean on the mains, vice versa...etc. http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/plugchop.html

PassionRE
Looks rich to me. Do a 6 gear all shee's got and kill the ignition and coast it in. Pull the plugs and refer to the chart below. give new plugs a 20 minute run in first at moderate loads then do the 6 gear pull. For quick reference jetting inspections, inspect the thread flat around the circumfrance of the plug shank body, cardboard color is perfect. Note: some blends of fuel will distort the color from the typical cardboard color, Octane boosters will as well...The main thing is you NEED some color around the circumfrance of the shank or you are near the toasted engine stage...Jim http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g215/pas...e/plugchart.jpg Edited April 9, 2008 by PassionRE
Wildcardracing
I've always used old plugs to warm the engine real good and then use new ones for the plug chop...no run in on the new plugs. I've had excellent results that way.
