lonestar Posted April 3, 2008 Report Share Posted April 3, 2008 (edited) They help maintain the same chain tension no matter were the swingarm position is, and your chain rides on bearings no sliders. When you first get them you have to line them up. The propper way to line them up is with a chain alignment tool coming off the rear sprocket with pionter or a straight edge. You may have to cut or shime the spacers that come with it. If you like pulling wheelies it's harder to do so. Because of the fulcrum piont is at the upper roller. So thats way it's harder to pull wheelies. The ones that rdz, james lucky sell that comes off the bottom roller at the frame with the spring are junk. Had one on my three wheeler. IMO I'll take amp link. I see some amp links on e-bay that weren't lined up properly that are shot all to hell because they weren,t lined up the correct way. I had mine since 97 the rollers they show some wear but not bad for replacement. all & all great item IMO. They keep the front end down.
