mlarkin_09 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Share Posted April 3, 2008 I know this is a banshee fourm but I am having blaster problems and maby one of you guys could help here is the story....... Rode it for about 5 to 7 hours on saturday ran great. I put it in the shop for the night. The next day I went out It started just fine but ran like crap back fired and sputtered like a fouled plug. Took the plug out and it was sparking bright blue. Put the plug back in and it wouldn't start at all. Took the plug back out and No spark. It will only spark about half the time. I put a new plug Cdi and Coil on and it still is doing the same thing. I took the fly wheel off and the key is in good shape. Some times it will spark 20 to 30 kicks in a row. Then maby 50 with no spark then Start sparking for a few kicks. I have no idea maby the stator is bad but I dont have access to one and I am really tired of buying new parts and not fixing my problem. The previous owner of my Blaster never used the switch on the bars and I did right after i bought it. No start and ended up the contacts had gotten full of dirt, oil, grease etc from 12+ yrs of no use. I cleaned it and it works fine to this day. Just a thought.
