njbanshee
I got my bike set up to go fast, but i was wondering if anyone upgraded there breaks. I put an aftermarket rotor on, but what about the master cylinder? I also have braided steel lines. I took off the front brakes so i really want to beef up the rear. trex banshee
All i did was bought a wave rotor and new pads and made sure there was no air in the system and it seems to stop fine for me.

What he said all i got was a waved rotor and replaced pads. Should be fine since i'm running front brakes too. Are you running fronts? NYUK
you are gonna need fronts at e town 8th mile track. the shutdown area is short. atco you will be fine, zinc city in the poconos you need front and rear. e town quarter the rear is fine. yfz 450 fit the banshee front. wildwood makes a 3 piston rear that can be adapted to the banshee rear.a mount needs to be fabricated. i ran banshee stockers all around. braided lines. and i had them bled so a mouse fart size air bubble was not in my lines. i would reverse bleed them before every race the night before.on short asphalt tracks you will definitly need fronts.how will you heat the tires? http://home.comcast.net/~kooljohn5967/nyuk1.wmv i am in the far lane. this track is on rt. 209 in the poconos. if i didn`t have fronts i would be on rt. 209 on my way home. njbanshee
I don't heat my tires. I don't see the need to waste the tire. I hook great. At e town the 1/8 mile track is the same as the 1/4 mile track, so you have even more room to slow down.

You are gonna need to heat your tires for sure....unless you are ok with 2.0 short times!!!! Not sure I would be calling out NYUK on his facts.....he is one of the OG's of asphault, and that was his home track!!!!!!! If you are worried about saving your tires....you are in the wrong game my man...........go play with some dolls or something!!!!!!!!! njbanshee
Damn, all i said was i don't heat mine. I like how it hooks. I never got nasty with you guys, no need to be a dick. I'm not sure if we are talking about the same track cause i've been there a bunch and there are only two lanes. Englishtown race way park. I've always run the 1/4, so maybe your right. "Go play with dolls" what an ass hole thing to say. People have really changed on this site. Everyone used to be cool. Now everyone wants to be a computer tough guy. And i'm definitly not your man. sounds like some gay shit to me.
