jonnyrebel2004
I have an 03' Banshee with a Passion 12 Port Stroker engine, with cool head, V-Force reeds, BOSS RACING 39MM BILLET intakes, and the bigger Keihin carbs (not sure the size, whatever Jim at Passion reccomended) and a K&N filter. I like to ride in the sand but also trail ride around the house since we live in the country. I have thought about putting a +4 or a +6 swinger on it. I was wondering if I did this would it totally eliminate sliding the a** end around when turning in the sand. I drag race a little but just more or less play around in the sand when I am there. I would still like to be able to dune slide and was wondering everyones opinion on if I should do it and if so which one I should do and how you all think it will handle. Thanks
sheefreak
The longer you go the more traction you are going to lose on the trails. In the sand you can make up for it w/more paddle, but not the dirt. Since you don't do that much drag racing I would say a +4. I will tell you a +6 is very duneable though! okbeast
Since you don't do much dragging I would have to say +4 as well. I happen to have a chrome +4 that I'm going to sell this summer...pm if you're interested.
tnr
I love my +6 in the sand, but I sure wouldnt want to trail ride with it. You would be happier with a +4 IMO

spolchlopek
ive got a +6 on my banshee and i love it... we mostly ride trail when we are at waynoka and it does just fine and you can still slide it around...
Animalman294
I'm runnin' the +6 and I love it in the sand, but with the cubby more throttle will kick anything around............ I run it in the trails and it is obviously different than shorter arms, but it is still doable and I don't have any problems with it...........
