I LOVE to wheelie, and my carrier bearings have a little bit of play in them, so I was thinking about just buying a -2 round style carrier swingarm, Alot of people say it makes an ungodly difference, but I wonder if they are just exaggerating, idk. Thanks guys! .. he is obsessed with doing wheelies... he has 2 shee's so one of them can be a complete wheelie shee.. so just give him other advice too lmao.... inthemail Posted April 2, 2008 Report Share Posted April 2, 2008 i just cut mine and trying to get around to welding it back togeather. ill be using the stock carrier for now untill i got the quid for a compleat axle, roundhouse carrier and swingarm. weelies will be alot easier to snap up personally i dont like doing wheelies on my shee, the powerband makes it too scary and difficult to control (never learned wheelies with the brakes, go figure i could walk my ex for miles.... stupid 4 stroke) in the trails your going to love it as far as manurverability goes in the twisties. alot of flattrack guys shorten it up as well for maximum hookup. i have even seen as much as -3.5 which looked retarded dumb and skyprone. It really makes a huge difference on the bike. It gets alot more traction and the front end feels really light. I ride in the dirt 95% of the time so I really needed the extra traction. The bike doesn't push in the corners as much so it makes it easier to ride. It corners awesome. If you combine it with +2+1 a-arms and some good shock it will blow your mind how much of a different bike it is. The only draw back is the bike is less stable at high speeds but you get used to it. My bike just is filtered, piped, and 35mm single carbed in the power department so it doesn't have crazy power. Keeping the front end down isn't a problem at all I think it could even handle some porting. When I bought my first banshee, the thought was "its a big quad" it felt long and heavy and wide. I rode a suzuki quadracer for 8 years before my Banshees, so thats what I was used too. The stock length banshee felt big in the woods, especially when I was in first\second gear and the trail is just alittle wider than the quad. The banshee felt too big. After the -2 swingarm, the wheelbase felt alot better for the riding I do. Plus all the other benifits that were mentioned. It was worth the time and money for my -2 and I'd do it again.
