istoleacamaro
I've got a banshee with the mods done in sig... Bike now has K&N PODS THO! So fattys, reeds, pods, .30 over, and im in kansas... The bike melted a piston with 260s in it (how i got it) so is a 300 about right? I just want everyones opinion. Someone said 320s so i put them in and it hasnt fouled a plug but just feels kinda fat. istoleacamaro
heres something else... i rode the bike 2 or 3 times before it got cold with the 300s in it and stock airbox with a K&N and lid ON and it ran fine with 300s and stock airbox, when i say ride i dont mean two or three times down the street i went to a trail and rode for a few hours at a time and never had any problems being too rich. i thought 320s with pods sounds right... what do you guys think? dajogejr
Start with 340s...especially since it's still a bit cold. Work your way down from there. Worst case, as you said, you foul a pair of plugs.

slowblueshee2
One of my buddies runs fmfs and a k&n in the box. Rode on a cold weekend in february had 320 twenty mains then seemed a little lean in the cold weather. Went to 330 and hasn't changed it since, probably a little fat in the warmer weather. Still runnin and hasn't fouled a plug.
dajogejr
Unless you are very, VERY fat on the main, you normally won't foul a plug. You're spinning the motor at or near peak RPM when it needs the most fuel and oil...and it can burn it off.... When the pilot/air screw is real fat is normally when you foul the plug, in addition to the needle.

Michael Jackson
you could wait around for some more opinions from kids that have no idea what they are talkin about, or listen to the guy who knows his shit.. id go with option
