There's always someone who has to one up everything you do and try to act like a fricken dick. you just have to roll your eyes and realize life is to short to worry about people like that. ( alot of sarcasm goes a long way with those type of people)

BaNsHeEs RuLe!
You know, I was at Muenster this weekend and the same shit happened to me. Dude in a 2008 dodge 4X4 chromed out, bad ass camper, hot chick and of course a YFZ 450 with 20 billion dollars worth of mods. I mean this dude was cocky. Some other guys were riding 2 strokes as well, a quadracer and a blaster. When I pulled up the 2 stroke guys rolled by with a "what's up", and warned me about the asshole on the 450. Well, as soon as I pulled my banshee of the trailer and fired it up, this dude rode up and complemented my quad, in a sarcastic way. So after talking to him for a minute I fronted him up about marking off a track, cross country style on the back acreage where it's woods and some nice loose dirt. We marked off some trails, rode it about 30 mins and lined up. I got smoked on the start, we started on some real loose dirt, but I expected this, as soon as we hit the woods, where you actually have to RIDE, I passed him and pulled soooo far I couldn't even hear him, came out of the woods and blasted down the only open strait on the track only to see his buddies waving me down. Dude had got crossed up and nailed a tree, HARD!! Bent his shit up bad, and busted his case. He was bruised up and pretty sore, but I pulled his YFZ back with my quad, and did what I could to help. They packed up and left, going to the hospital. Point is, all the $$$ and all the cockyness and all the talk in the world can't make up for poor riding. We didn't get in one fast lap and BAM~!!! I wish offroaders were cool like they were back in the day, man, we all love the same thing, slinging a leg over and rippin' it up. I do my part every time out to try to make as many freinds in this sport as possible, ...........can't we just get along????

Whahooo, your daddy has more money than I do, now can you "ride" that mountain of dollars????? I have been in dealer sales, racing, building, you name it. It always phases me that all dudes that have fast bikes feel like "da man" until they have to do something other than twist and hold on!! I mean no disrespect to the true drag guys here because this is not about the real drag guys. "Posers" as we call them or "squids". I think I was actually looked at as a tool on a quad in the dealer says until I showed up to a scramble race years ago on a 300EX against Banshees. I was there for fun and fun it was. 3rd out of 21 on a turd! Just think if I had a 400EX. I have also experienced the tools at the dunes on there modded Banshees... Wow did I have fun when I hit the trails with one of the first 400 suks with knobbies! HS, if I had a dollar for every Banshee I passed. I think I was on a high that day and really liking the handling of that 400. I am showing my age now!! Moral of the stories, fast rides can still get smoked by fast riders. tnr
I am fairly new to this whole banshee thing. I bought my first shee almost 4 months ago and there is a certain brotherhood (lack of better words) to them. In my area I have looked on craigslist for banshee parts a couple times. I call these guys and ask them about a part and the conversation ends up going on for 30 minutes or better. They were all curious about what I have done to the bike, giving pointers on getting it to run better, and the basic do's and dont's. The people that I talked to, even if I didnt buy a part from them, said to feel free to call anytime if I had a problem or needed anything. Call someone about four stroke parts and I am willing to bet you wouldnt end up with a 30 minute conversation and you can call any time. Just thought it was kind of nice, something you rarely see anymore.

tnr
One of the guys name was Ray. He has been messing around with banshees for some 15 years. I cant remember the other guys name, but he was out of Scappose and buys stock banshees and builds them up and sells them. Both of them were very nice genuine people. jharader
Seems like us 2-stroke guys get the shit end of the stick for not staying with the trend these days yet we have better bonds and show more respect or so it seems, cuz i really havnt met one guy i could conversate with regarding a 4-stroke for more then 5 minutes without kringing at there ignorance. I like all fourwheelers, ALL, i ride a banshee because thats what gets my rocks off and dollar 4 dollar in MY opinion it cant be touched, purtty machines i might ad. Just sad the rest of the riders out there dont see the light, we ride because it makes us happy in some way or another, not to out-do, show up other people, its okay to do on the track pur-say but not verbally, completely arrogant and will eventually get your teeth knocked out props to all u guys keeping it oldschool though thats awesome wish there were more of you round these parts lol

I used to get some fucked up races like fmf unported shee against my old 7mil . LOL wtf ... they would ask to race so i would , o well  I wonder who won those races And I would have to agree with tnr and his statement. Some of my friends are riding 2 strokes and 4 and so it is easy to get along with them because they understand both concepts. However a few of my other friends only ride 4 stroke, and that is the only thing that deserves to be around on this earth. I too can walk into a shop, or riding area, etc and if there is another 2 stroke "member" there, I can have a grand ol' chat with them, shoot the shit for awhile. I have yet to talk to any other 4 stroke rider other than my friends..they just look at my bike and that is about it. Like sure 4 stroke guys probably are nice to other 4 stroke guys...but I DO NOT go around bad talking 4 strokes, or any 4 stroke I see. I like both engines and the quads that surround the engine, but if you start being an asshole to me, I will be an asshole back......
