jbooker82
Im lookin a getting a case saver any one had experience with one ?I was looking at tm deseign's The TM is the only one to get. It rests against the cases for more suport. Plus the plastic will absorb force instead of transfer it to other parts. There stuff is top notch. I also have all the chain guid stuff. Rollers, front swing arm slide and rear chain guid. The rear guid also has some rollers instead of just the solid plastic.

Animalman294
I heard the TM Works unit was a nice piece. I haven't purchased one yet, but I have heard from other members that have used them say they did a better job of protecting the case than the solid aluminum ones............ gregrob
I just got the mod quad case saver. It's a huge big thick piece like the TM plastic one, but it's billet. It's definitely not one of the little flimsy ones that can break right off when the chain hits it. I'd say if the chain hits this mother it's not going ANYWHERE. Very beefy unit, I'm confident it'll do a good job.
gregrob
http://modquad.com/store/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=cs1-3 It's shaped like the smaller flimsy ones, but trust me when you get this thing in your hands it's huge. Dwarfs the others. They also have the UHMW plastic ones listed on the site

shudakeptquiet
The TM one is a well made piece, but I greatly dislike the company, their customer service sucks

Animalman294
The beefy one is all good, but the problem is when the energy is transferred it has to go some where and usually that is going to be the metel itself or the place where it bolts to the case............ gregrob
What happens when you hit a brick wall with your fist? Where does the energy go?
jbooker82
Back into your hand, and it breaks your wrist. TM Designworks case saver would be punching a punching bag. Absorbs and dissapates the force.
jbooker82
Nothing is better.
gregrob
Well, scratch that. The modquad I got is total weaksauce. Snapped and broke my cases. I'll be sending them pics and requesting a refund to purchase a TM saver. If not, I'll post the pics here (and anywhere else I can think of).
