endofitall9
Well. I called Wicked and spoke to him about the arms and they come with a lifetime warranty againts manufacturer defect...I.E. weld cracking.. so I was like yeah I call back friday to order them for 425 shipped. So I call back and they tell me they have raised $100 dollars to $525 in 2 days So now I've been looking at the Janssens which are $700 shipped and are the arms I've always wanted so I'm having problems making up my mind The janssens look way beefier and they are a way better established company also the warraty is lifetime agains bending or breaking but the wickeds are cheaper. the only thing I dont like about the Janssens are the heims, I usually avoid the mud but sometie you cant help it..I need some guys that have these arms to chime in a help out......... Bansh-eman
I have a set of the Wicked arms, they are awsome. And Tim is very ez to work with. I was able to get mine for 350 when he had them forsale. 525 is a bit steep but they are good arms. I'd say save the money and get the wickeds. I'm not a fan of paying for the names when you can spend that money on more parts.
endofitall9
He seems like a standup guy but your right $525 is way too steep for these arms...considering what he said about his warranty..He said alot of guys that are buying these think they can buy them with the lifetime warranty go roll their quad over the hill and bend their arms and send them back for him to replace..he said thats not the case he said his lifetime warranty only goes for manufacturing defects he said that if you ever have a weld break or something hell replace it..so I guess if your riding and just hit a jump and they bend your screwed but on the other hand he said you can buy all seperate parts for you to replace what you break This is why I'm leaning toward Janssen mx tech arms..lifetime against bending or breaking..I just need some guys to chime in about their experience with them. Too bad I would have willing gave Wicked my $425 or even $450 but No way will I give them $525 with a warranty like that. I'm leaning toward Janssen c'mon guys let me know about them! shanYE west
The Janssen arms are VERY nice.. My buddy has a set of LT's on his 450r. I'd spend the money and get what you want.
Lepew
I had wicked and he didn't stand behind his product for manufactures defects since I waited a few months before making the claim. I bought the a-arms in the off season and when I tried to install them later they had clearence issues and he would take them back or admit the ball joints were angled wrong. You pay for what you get usually with products that have been around awhile like Wicked, Lonestar and Roll Design.
Bansh-eman
im a little confused with your post lepew... you had bad luck with Wicked or you had bad luck with Jansens? Cause you go on to say "You pay for what you get usually with products that have been around awhile like Wicked, Lonestar and Roll Design." Skidmark
I got a set of janssen xc arms on my yfz and I love them. The heim ends havent gave me any trouble yet, I've rode in some pretty bad mud a few times too. If you get them I dont think you'll be dissapointed. I guess I jinxed myself. Saturday afternoon me and my girlfriend were riding and all the sudden it felt like she slammed on the front brakes. Then she said "oh shit" and I saw the front tire looking at the bumper. The bolt that holds the lower hiem end toghether came out and luckily it was still in the wheel when I got off to check everything. I got everything back toghether and today when I took it apart to check the others I noticed there was some kind of grease all in the threads. I cleaned all of it out and locktighted the bolts. Hopefully they'll stay toghether. Just glad nobody/no parts were harmed. Check those bolts!
