Hubcap
Last week went to glamis had 130 psi. Rode for 12 hrs total ride time was running great. Got home in Tucson area checked compression was at 60psi both cylinders. Took about 5 kicks to start. When i put it in gear when engine is not running i can basically push the shee forward with hardly any resistance i can hear the pistons going up down is that cause of the low compression? I know the reason why compression is down forgot to oil filters and carbs were full of sand. In need of rebuild and port job anyone know of any decent builders in Tucson area? on a $600 budget
Bansh-eman
he's not in tuson but you can contact Kevin Herr at Herr Jugs Racing or pm him on here KEVSWS6 he can build you a very nice motor, at a very good price. I have sent ALOT of guys to him and have heard 0 negitivity back from anyone
gregrob
OUCH! 60psi? Damn. Does it even still run? I would send your cylinders to a reputable builder and have them ported, also have him overbore you and put a new set of pistons in. Should be close to your 600 mark, or less and run much better! ClimbAnyHill
Sand killls!!! that will shred your fresh hone & loose compression fast. Herr Jugs would be a wise choice, nothing but tons of positive feedback!!
