wacko2000
I have stock carbs, so I do not have this prob, but you arent alone, alot of guys with better carbs have this problem, what type of intake are you running, supposibly the boss racing intake is supposed to lift the carbs alittle, and also reed spacers help with this problems aswell.. http://www.whiteknuckleracing.com/index.ht...;target=d3.html http://www.bossatvracing.com/index.php?mai...dex&cPath=2 Also check out ebay, they have both inatkes and spacers for sale there... there are alot of companies that sell the reed spacers.. Do some searching, you'll see that alot of people have/had this problem

shanYE west
When I used 35pwks I had to bend down the arms also.
procharged540
I thought about bending the lever down but i didnt know if the pressure from cable would make it bend back . i bought 36mm stock looking intakes (rubber) that was stipid I know now!!! maybe i can make a 7/16 spacer and bend the lever down I work in a machine shop so makeing them is not a problem what do you think ???? Bansh-eman
you can either run spacers to move them back or sell your intake and buy a Boss, Mod Quad,or White Knuckle Racing Billet intake. They are all pretty much the same thing and will move the carbs up and away from the level while also getting rid of the crossover tube. jbooker82
Yep Boss Racing Intake. Moves the carbs up and back. Way better option than reed spacers.
FASTOYS
These are very nice and seem to add a touch more hp compared to some of the others. http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=190 You can try to bend arm down, grind a touch off of the bottom carb nut, but reed spacers or different intakes that move the carbs up will work better. I have them on my 33pwk's and now 39 pwks , they clean the motor up, and no more boost bottle.
