They were talking on the news here locally that these other people did a survey on those F*ing birds and there not even close to extinciton, its just the tree humpers that think at the rate that its going that they will be gone in a couple of years..::LAME:: Yeah, I sold Mike the frame in my sig... He's a really cool guy. I dig Pismo for one reason... It's got the best damn temp in Cali with the dune to ride on. I'm going to be in Pismo March 15th with the R... Come out and see... feedmelies
Pismo is amazing during the summer when Glamis is too hot to visit. You cannot beat duning in 65 degree temps. The downsides are that the sand is harder and choppier, the place is way small and people are more concentrated. If the weather is doable at Glamis, there's no way I'd waste a trip going to Pismo. Of course, the travel time to both are equal for me. I can imagine how people who live closer to Pismo than Glamis could have a different opinion. SHOWTIME
I agree that Glamis is a billion times better then Pismo...its just hard to justify driving 6 hours when Pismo is 5 minutes away lol...

rubberneck
Just got back about an hour ago. Was there tues through today and it got really packed starting last night and this morning was wall to wall. Hey, I was just there in january, and everyting was normal. Now i see they closed the beach of at marker 6 and took a chunk of dunes with it. WTF are the f'ing tree huggers ever going to be happy until they close the whole place down What the hell gives. Is this another one of those "temporary" things that becomes permanent. Those fences sure didn't look temporary. Im about done with that place. Keeps getting smaller and smaller. Im bummed
