2004LEBanshee
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Original-A-...sspagenameZWDVW I want to try a +2 for cheap for the few times a year I drag race maybe once or twice a year. Has anyone tried this or will it work? for 60 buck I figure why not. :ermm:
Michael Jackson
i think the last guy that tried that is in a chair now... but honestly, id at least replace those bolts with some grade 8 ones

zach45
IF anything.... i would use it on a drag only bike... not on trial dune etc bike.. rear axle falling off would suck...
locogato11283
thats a real ghetto way of extending your swingarm. the stock tabs arent very strong as it it. all youre doing is extending them. bad idea.
theshee
IF anything.... i would use it on a drag only bike...not on trial dune etc bike.. rear axle falling off would suck... But it breaking while you are going 80 on a drag bike is ok? Looks pretty chicken shit to me, I wouldnt use it.

Looks pretty chicken shit to me, I wouldnt use it. i was thinking that after i posted... the torque of a drag bike might weaken it over time if not just snap it right off.. take back what i said... i wouldn't run it but each his own... you can get a +2 swinger for like 150-200.. i rather spend the extra 140 for the real deal.. sinisterboo
they work awsome on blasters, but thats with 70 lb kids who are scared to jump riding em! thats the only thing i would even consider putting em on.
375hp banshees
Mine had one on it when i got it (stock'ish), it held up good, but it was alot beefier than that one!
Skidmark
I guess it depends on who makes the ones you get. A while back when we used to drag race all the time I saw alot of banshees with extensions. Some of them had some pretty strong motors in them. I agree with the no dune thing but for just drag they would be perfectly fine.
Male Supremacy
You probably better get a steel-braided brake line...that way when the extension breaks while drag-racing, you can drag your axle behind you until you stop (like a surfer when he falls off his board.) With the sarcasm aside, I wouldn't ride down the street going 12mph with that thing...and I've used wheel spacers!
