KaosBanshee44
Yeah he fights like the only thing he has against anybody is his size and that's it. His balance looks like a bum after he earns enough to get a 18 pack of beer.
dajogejr
I agree with MJ... He's a brawler, that's it. In the video that Wallace posted, if that was UFC, the white guy would've choked him out and it would've been over with.... Anyone with ANY kind of boxing skills and ground game is going to destroy Kimbo. I'm not saying he can't be a good fighter once day...but Tank Abbot? C'mon.... Rocky Balboa at 50 years of age would've been a better fight...YO ADRIAN.. I'll tell you what would draw a BIG media frenzy... Brock Lesnar vs. Kimbo. Famous wrestler vs. Internet/boatyard legend... I would put my money on Brock. Even though Mir submitted him, he was a world class college wrestler, on the ground, Kimbo doesn't stand a chance.... Not to mention, ANY fight I've watched of Kimbo...he's gassed after a couple of minutes of the heavy hands. UFC is three 5 minute rounds for a regular fight. He does not have 10% the conditioning of most of the UFC fighters...just about any heavyweight would beat his ass....
Michael Jackson
yep, brock would destroy him, kimbo needs to bulk up if thats his game plan is to out muscle and out brawl people, mir isnt huge but he would make kimbo look small standing at 6'4 250, kimbo isnt that big 6'2 230 hes right along the lines of a guy like cro cop, but cro cop has amazing skill and legs the size of kimbos mid section and is in far better shape, kimbos muscles are more form , than they are function,,he looks good with his shirt off, but gasses in 2 mins, he needs some conditioning and to lay off that 5 blunt a day regime hes on.. if it was kimbo vs lesnar, i think itd past maybe a minute, lesnar would use his world class wrestling to take him to the ground, get him on his pack and give him the worst ground and pound hes ever had, like he almost did to Mir there before hitting him in the back of the head... i never like to see a guy get beat up bad, but i think kimbo needs it, all those streetfights with bums in miami made him think hes a hard ass, i bet little bj penn would work him over Edited February 20, 2008 by Michael Jackson
ellison445
Im a lesnar fan since his days of wrestling, but He would stand no chance with Kimbo!!! Lesnar wouldnt make it past the punches to take him down.
WALLACE84
I agree with MJ... Wow, I guess the Michigan boys arent so bad after all because I agree with you too. When/if he ever fights someone who is still fresh and is an experienced heavyweight fighter, he will get killed. Me and my dad were talking about this when he first started fighting in the MMA. Just because he has won alot of street fights doesnt mean shit when it comes to the MMA. Whole different ball game. I sure I basically just resaid everything all you guys already said but that how I feel too...

Well, give us your input. What I said is what I think after watching the kimbo fights and seeing alot of the guys in UFC,pride,WEC and watching a few ufc pay per views. Not saying that im 100% right just seems he wouldnt last very long against a well trained and punished fighter his size

Not saying that im 100% right just seems he wouldnt last very long against a well trained and punished fighter his size i do agree that kimbo has a ways to go. hes only got 3 fights under his belt and while they were wins they def werent against the best opponents. here is where i think kimbo will prevail. the guy has a shitty background. comes from street fighting to mma where he is training hard and very seriously. i mean, not every brand new fresh mma guy gets to train under bas rutten. bas is a smart guy and was a great mma fighter. i dont think bas would take his time to train kimbo to be a nobody, and i dont think kimbo wants to be a nobody in mma. ive read on this post where people say hes just a brawler, but thats absolutely not true. ive seen training videos of the guy and he knows what to do when the time comes to go to the ground, he just hasnt had that happen yet. and it might even take a loss for him to really see where he stands, but right now hes on top of his game doing what he needs to do to win. people also say his striking is not good. bullshit, his punches to tanks were very crisp and accurate. anyone who disagrees needs to watch the fight again. and not that many people have knocked out tank. tank has a hard chin, and kimbo knocked him the fuck out. id say that kimbo's striking is pretty good. also, anyone talking about the sean gannon fight needs to get over it. that fight was stupid and means nothing. that was long before kimbo knew anything about conditioning or ground game. that fight is irrelevant. kimbo has excellent trainers now, so for someone to think that he will be subbed immediately or that he has no chance on the ground is fuckin stupid. kimbo is a beast at 235 pounds. he's lean, very strong and has the determination to be an excellent fighter. sure kimbo will probably lose to an experienced hw fighter, but name me one hw fight besides fedor who hasnt lost to another hw fighter? i mean, everyone acts like that when kimbo loses his career is over. get real. as fas as im concerned a loss will only make kimbo meaner and smarter. i cant wait until this kimbo shows up. i look forward to kimbos next fight and i dont care who its against. the guy is super nice, watch his interviews, and has a ton of heart. i hope he goes far in mma.
