Ok i tried the search but it didnt give me the exact answer i was looking for so what im asking is ive got an 06 banshee all stock except, open lid, k&n, and t5's. I just got a adjustable timing plate and want to advance to +4. I need to know what the max compression is before i need to run a more octane gas. I believe ive read anything above 150, but wasnt sure. I currently run 93 octane. Thxs for any info, its greatly appreciated!!!

You should be safe with +4 timing running up to 150, but any more compression than that and your going to have to run 50/50 or straight race fuel.

I have the same exact set up except for t6 pipes and I run +7 and still use 93 octane.

thxs for the responses guys. Speedy2222 is that 100LL an airplane fuel??? Cause i do live near an airport. And do you run that strait???? Also one for question, does it hurt to run the higher octane even of ya dont need it (Like to be on the safe side) thxs again.

If your motor is stock you shouldn't need to run any higher octane fuel. Only if you change your compression. Adjusting the timing will not effect your compression. Or are you asking for future modifications?

Ok thxs for the tips, the reason i was asking was i didnt advance the timing yet, i want to check what my compression is first. If it is above 150, i just wanted to see what i would need to do. Sorry for all the questions just trying to learn all i can before i do something stupid. Thxs again!!
