jayzx10r
I want to pick up a billet impeller and was wondering if they are all the same or if there is a brand I should stay away from. Seems like the Pro Design is a good one...is it the same one as the Vito's impeller? I found a company called Billet Torchworks that sells one for $40.00 + shipping... Thanks for your input, Jay from SanD.
KaosBanshee44
There really all the same, i have a Mod Quad impeller and have seen other brands and they all look the same. It's a good insurance investment to! You'll never have to worry about the stock bucket of fart inpeller F'n up.

Thanks for your input, Jay from SanD. i would definalty recommend the Pro-design impeller, i have this fitted and its great. The modquad impellers have been trouble in the past, i suppose this has been sorted now but if you buy the best first time round then it wont let you down! sheerider1026
stay away from modquad, i put one in my new cub motor and it took a shit o me after 11 hours of ride time, filled the crankcases full of coolant,. any company that sells something that critical without testing it should be shot on site.. prodesign all the way!! they are proven.. Make sure the shaft is steel and not aluminum like the impeller. Otherwise ^^^^ the tranny fills with coolant. The seal on the shaft wears a groove in the shaft and leaks by. I have heard it happening in just a few hours of riding also.

bansheeman1988
Stay away from modquad they are cheap knockoffs that copy other companies ideas, they have been known to groove and break off the fins. prodesign is your best bet! timjz
Any word on the Vito's impeller? Someone has to of tried it. It has the stainless steel shaft.
dajogejr
I got my prodesign from a friend used, gave it to me...and I've used it that last two years without issue in my 4 mil and now 10 mil cub. If the price is similar or close from Vitos to prodesign, I say go with the PD. even though the Vitos very well could be just fine, PD makes nice stuff. Word. Both of my bikes have PD impellers in them. The ModQuad units aren't so great. :geek:

Bobman13
Definitely Pro-Design I just got one from Jeff at F.A.S.T. I spoke to him on the phone he Say's he'll sell you a Mod quad if your hell bent on getting one but he runs nothing but the Pro-Design in all his bike's. As for the Vito's I don't know any one who runs them but they are 64.95 and you can normally get a Pro-design for about the same if you shop around. LiftdT4R
Go for the torch works one. They are awesome guys to deal with, and they make a great product. They do everything in-house so their prices are right. http://www.torchworks.net/water_pump_impeller.htm
