man22
I was wanting to know some opinions on what pipe would be the best for me. I have a 2000 shee with some mods and t-5s. I do mostly 200-300 foot draging nad tighter trails. I love the top end on the t-5s but I was wanting to know what would be the best pipes for more lowend. would 2into1 pipes fall off too soon for say 300 foot drags? Or would gnarlys or fattys be a better setup. All opinions appreciated Thanks, Bob
Snopczynski
The 2 into 1 is more of a mx pipe. Once you get up in the power curve on it, it will easily stay on the pipe. You want something like pro circuits or pt mids. If your geared right both those pipes ought to work decent for both types of riding. 350BANSHEE350
stick with t-5s if you like dragging or if yo really want to go with fatties
Michael Jackson
try a nice fat crack pipe, the more you hit it, the faster you go
BansheeRider71
try a nice fat crack pipe, the more you hit it, the faster you go LOL!!!! That shit is funny MJ. But for real if you want to get a different pipe all together then I would look closely at the FMF Fatty's or SST's or like Snop said Pro-Circuits. if you like dragging you definitley dont wanna get the 2intot1 pipe because it falls off too early for the top-end. Toomeys are good if I were you I would keep them, but its your choice. Fattys are great pipes, my best friend has some on his shee with a mild port job an his hits hard off the bottom an pulls good through the mid-range an has decent top-end, the fattys fall off a little sooner than T-5's SST's are like the fattys but they dont fall off as soon as the fattys an they pull alot harder, comparable to T-5's Pro-Circuits I cant really say as I have never seen them on a shee up close an have never rode one with pro-circuits, but I hear they are torqey as hell an have a decent mid range an top-end. 714banshee380
i thought t5's were for 1st 2nd and 3rd gear while the t6's were for 4th 5th and 6th gear.....
scooter6101982
i pretty much do the same riding as you and love my pro-circuits my friends have t5s and fatties ans sst"s and we all pretty much run the same but the pro-circuits deff have more bottom end pull than the t5s but still have a nice curve up the top

Actually max power rpm on the dynoport is higher than the pro circuits, and pt mids. The torque curve is smaller than the pc's, and the pt mids though. dajogejr
I do mostly 200-300 foot draging nad tighter trails. There is no one pipe that does both of those very good, period. They are apples and orange, night and day...alpha and omega. You have a set of pipes that does drag better than tight trails... Figure out if you want to drag more or ride tight trails more...get a pipe better suited to that. 2 into 1 pipe kills top end and is a total waste for a drag bike. You can get the motor ported to run better on that pipe...but bottom line is that it's a great MX/woods/trail pipe, not a duner/drag race pipe. Honestly, get some FMF Fatty pipes and get your motor ported. Just a woods port... I'd bet it'll pull stumps for trails and have more power than you're used to and drag race better too.... jcbanshee
T5's are awesome! I would stay with them for dragging.
