billybobby
havent run across a chevy yet that can keep pace with my little 302 You have a twin turbo 302 and only 400 horse. My whipple charged pickup is making around 450 with 7 psi. How much boost are you running? That really seems like a waste of money to run a twin setup and have only 400 horse. Oh and you have not run many chevs if you have not been beat by one.
lilmegill727
my dad just sold his limited edition svt supercharged mustang cobra that was done up with 500 rwhp.
wayfast1500
Only reason the 302 ford can make more power than chevys boat anchor 305 is because the 302 has a bigger stroke. If its a truck I'm all ford, if its performance I'm a chevy guy. I must admit I would love to own a mustang tho. I just got rid of the firebird I built up, for my banshee actually. I bought it as a 1988 305 formula ws-6. Built a 350 for it with a voodoo cam, elelbrock intake, holley 4bbl double pumper carb, mallory fuel pressure regulator, centerforce clutch, b&m short throw shifter, bored .030 over. I did a bunch of other things to it also. As much as I love my banshee when its running correctly but I do regret getting rid of that car.
