skylor
Well I know theres alot of posts about what pipes I should get and all this but none of these help me so anyway I'll start a new one. Sorry if this pisses anyone off. So anyway I live in western PA. So I do alot of trails but mostly only to get where I'm going. I mostly ride hills and open road. I want something with a little more bottom end and a harder hitting powerband. But I also want a good top end too for road riding. So basically you could say I'm looking for a good all-around pipe but with a little more bottom end lol if this makes any sense to you what-so-ever I just really need some help here lol. I also have DMC 916's on it right now which I do not like at all the power delivery, powerband or anything. Thanks for any help in advance. Snopczynski
Definitely not a cpi. Thats a mid to mostly topend pipe. I would recommend pro circuits if you want all around hard hitting power with good bottom end power.
jayzx10r
I'll put in a vote for the pipe everyone likes to condemn....FMF Fattys. Great all around pipe that has better low end than most of 'em out there and has a pretty good top end too!! Inexpensive used and work great.... Probably the perfect pipe for how you ride. The chrome is damn good too!!

skylor
Ok so from what I heard which is a bunch of different not even remotley close answers. I'm thinking T-5s, PT MR's, or PT HR's what do you guys think out of them three or something different from what was already said in the post? Whenever I think of PC's I think dirtbike and IMO thats all there good at making and when I think of FMF I think of shitty quality because they mass produce and get shit done fast but thats just my opinion and don't like either company that much. 05 banshee
I see a lot of recomendations for T5's. Toomey claims that the T6 has more low end. Is that BS? I also want a set of pipes, and don't really plan on doing alot of mods to my banshee, maybe a milled head down to 20cc's, water pump, etc. Is the T6 really better for a stockish shee or is it just hype? skylor
I'm no expert but what I get out of the bends and expansion chamber on the T-6s I beleiev it would be more top end but I really have no idea. The way I come up with this is the longer the expansion chamber the more top end but I have no idea if thats correct. Please correct me if I'm wrong? BansheeRider71
See the thing with T-6's is they are great if all your gonna do is basic bolt on parts,reeds,cool-head,timing...ect.. they have a hair more low-end compared to T-5's , T-5's are better if later on down the road your gonna get the motor ported an get bigger carbs other than that T-5's an T-6's are pretty much the same thing other than T-6's have a little bit different bend to them. I say T-5's, thats what I plan on buying, FMF fattys are good my best friend has them on a ported motor an they work great have a good low-end hit but they dont pull as long on the top-end as lets say T-5's they fall off sooner an dont continue to pull as long, if your gonna get FMF get the SST's, an Pro-Circuit I have seen them on dirtbikes an they work good, they are comparable to FMF, around where I ride everyone has Toomeys FMFs or CPIs I cant really say anything on Pro-Circuit as I have never seen a shee with them on it up close an have never rode a shee with them on it either. jbooker82
I also have DMC 916's on it right now which I do not like at all the power delivery, powerband or anything. Thanks for any help in advance. What dont you like about the DMC 916's. My engine builder recomends them for his hot trail motor. Good all around pipe. For bottom end MX port he recomneds Paul Turner Mids. Dune port is Toomey T5's mid to top end pipe.
