dajogejr
In about 2.5 hours you could be in Clarksville, MI. It's a 300ft sand drag. We hit that twice a month or so. In about the same time, you could hit albright shores up near pinconning, MI... Same thing, but we don't hit that track quite as often. Little Sandy Raceway is in Kentucky... I think it's at or near Grayson. How ever, I've never been there. My friends that have say it's a total blast to ride there. If you're looking for street racing only, sorry...can't help ya there man!! According to my map, Bedford PA (BBDR) is 5.5 hours away from you, and that's a dirt track...if that matters.... Most of the tracks we ride are bracket racing, so you're racing yourself and your own consistency.... However, if you were to race the bikes we ride with at our tracks with your bike, not to be a jerk...but you'd lose pretty badly heads up racing. But I'm talking about lowered, stretched out alky burning bikes with BIG motors....in a heads up race. There are usually a few near stockers with bolt ons, a few 4 strokes, etc... Fast or slow, win or lose, you'll have fun...and meet new people that share the same passion for the sport as you. It's worth a trip. Word of warning....we've had a few people get bit by the mod bug...and once you get bit, it's a never ending, expensive disease with no cure in sight....just expensive mods and toys from there on out.... :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:

dajogejr
www.bobsfamilyraceway.com is for Clarskville. He doesn't have the 08 calendar updated yet, last I checked. We also rent the track out from time to time. Last two years in a row it was 240.00 for 4 hours...so, 60 an hour.... On days we rent the track for a Test and Tune, we usually ride 3 hours, then setup some type of gamblers race for like 10 bucks or 20 buck buy in....it's a lot of fun. Usually, 10 to 25 people show up, you get plenty of runs in...and just have fun. I'm looking for a website or info on Albright shores..... dajogejr
No problem. It really is a second family...this will be my third year hitting the tracks. Any thing you want/need...it's there. Couple ounces of oil, set of spark plugs, hose clamp...you name it. We all come together. Myself, badassbanshee479, fouledout420, BansheeDan, blewbyu, 87sheerips and quite a few others from this site hit the tracks. Even more from Planet Sand... (I know I'm missing a few guys...but it's all good) We've all borrowed each other stuff and borrowed from each other at any given day.... There is occasionally some camp racing, keyboard racing and BS...but I promise it's all in fun.... I guarantee the MI boys will chime in any time now and say the same.... GP1252
All bolt on parts with some porting? Is your swingarm stock length, and how much do you weigh? Do you run stock gearing? ok heres the rundown it was all bolt on until this winter by spring it will be a 4mill stock jug with drag port from fast 35mm pwks cpi inframes it already has a +8 swinger with aftermarket axel rider weight is 170 pounds and for now gearing is 14/38 Edited January 18, 2008 by GP1252
dajogejr
OK...if you run our tracks: Change the gearing to 14/44, launch in 2nd gear, get 10 or 11 paddle extremes or 12 paddle regular haulers. 8 over arm MIGHT be too much...but, you already have it. So...get a little more paddle. I believe badassbanshee479 is selling some 11 paddle extremes...that might be perfect for that bike.
