I personally like individual spark arrestors & the look of dual exhaust. There's nothing I like about the hush kit but.... it does serve it's purpose. The Alba kit is going to be kinda hard on T5 Silencers since the core slips into the endcap & makes it hard to place the screen in there. yamaha04 Posted January 17, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 17, 2008 yeah i would like to get the dual sparkys. but i just dont want any problems when i got to slver Lake. last year i had a freinds hush kit. they never checked DB's but i travel way to far to no be able to get in. a couple people have said on another site that they havent been cheaking Db's the past 2 years anyone comfirm this? One of the guys said he talked to a some of them at some Xmas or New Years party.. They are checking! What if you unplug something from the bike so it purposely doesn't start when they try to check? csrmel Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 as one of the few people who actually OWNS a hush kit i think i am a little qualified to give an opinion. as long as you keep the silencers freshly packed and the silencer orings are in good condition the hush kit works as advertised. it is also suppose to give you more top end power. i never was able to notice if it did or not. i dont understand why people dont like the hush kit. it works great.
