brugal Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 Sidewinder are said to be the best,and most expensive.When you change the chain you should change the sprockets also.The only time I heard of somebody breaking one of those chains was on a bike with a mountain of horse power.For the most part it should be the last chain you'll ever buy. locogato11283 Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 dude, i have been running primary drive sprockets for years. ive run them on stock stroke motors, 4mm and now my 10mm. 7 bucks i think for a front and 15 for a rear. i use DID atv chain. never had an issue and i pound on my bike when im hillclimbing. you can get them at RMATV. I got the JT front for $5 & run the DID as well. I wasn't sure what gearing I wanted for the rear so decided to wait. It backfired at Glamis this weekend. lonestar Posted January 17, 2008 Report Share Posted January 17, 2008 I think all depends if you ride in sand with paddle tire's with a high output motor start worrying about chains. 1 year ago called sidewider wanted 365.00 tri-moly just for the chain. 140.00 rear sprocket tri-moly, front sprocket 47.00 you gotta be kidden.
