I put my new slingshot lockup on, and measured my clutch... My clutch is three years old, the fibers are .165 to .170...steels are .045. Wanting to know how worn they are compared to new.... I was like...yeah, my fibers are between 160 and 170.... I mean .116 and .117... He was like "huh".... Honestly guys....after three years, stock motor, 4 mil and 10 mil cub, this clutch still looks good. Easily 500 to 700 passes at the strip and dunes. Steels aren't even blued, etc... My 421 with a lockup fired a tusk in one weekend, got a FAST clutch and never had another problem, then put in it my 10mil with no problems. I bet its still going strong in the 10mil too.
