WinchedWolvy Posted January 7, 2008 Report Share Posted January 7, 2008 Found a phillips head screw rolling around loose in the clutch cover up by the crank and wondering does anyone know where its from and have you had the same problem? found the same screw in my buddys a couple weeks ago also??????? BigRed350x Posted January 7, 2008 Report Share Posted January 7, 2008 (edited) There are two of those little ones that hold a half-moon shape piece that holds one of the trans bearings in place and helps tie the who halves of the case together. Could be one of those? :shrug: Take a picture of the screw and who us and we might be able to help you more. Sounds like your lucky enough it didn't bounce around and tear anything up. I broke shift shaft screw and it reeked havoc in my clutch case! Yeah, i had one of the screws come out of the clutch dampner cover......... fucked a bunch of shit up, gotta tear the new 4mil back apart to clean out all the aluminum shavings. lucky tho that it didn't get between any of the gears !!
