Found a loose screw in the clutch cover

Recommended Posts

There are two of those little ones that hold a half-moon shape piece that holds one of the trans bearings in place and helps tie the who halves of the case together. Could be one of those?

Take a picture of the screw and who us and we might be able to help you more.

I think everything is tapered except the screws for the half moon bearing keeper. Sounds like your lucky enough it didn't bounce around and tear anything up. I broke shift shaft screw and it reeked havoc in my clutch case!

Yeah,

i had one of the screws come out of the clutch dampner cover.........

fucked a bunch of shit up, gotta tear the new 4mil back apart to clean out

all the aluminum shavings.

lucky tho that it didn't get between any of the gears !!
