blackandyellowshee
There is a weird noise coming from the rear end of my shee. It feels like the chain is skipping the sprocket, or some kind of spline jumping another one, but my chain and sprockets are brand new and my chain is tight. It happens like if I do a wheelie and I get to the balance point, then I give it another shot of gas and "clunk clunk clunk" really fast. Or the other day i was riding in the snow spinning out, then it got grip and did it did the same thing again. I have new bearings in my axle carrier too, that was my first thought. sheerider1026
sounds like the splines on the sprocket hub are stripped.. i had one do that..
foxracing350
sounds like the splines on the sprocket hub are stripped.. i had one do that.. yea i would check that it happened to me to
okbeast
That's a possibility but if they're stripped I wouldn't imagine it would catch at all. Take a sharpie and mark it then go ride and if it does it see if the hub has rotated any.
LiftdT4R
Ohh man, I had that a couple of months ago. Your bearing(s) probably took a shit in the carrier, it then lets the axle rock front to back and side to side inside the carrier. I'd take them apart soon otherwise youll fuck up the sprocket, chain, and youll porbably be buying a new axle.
SAVAGE420
Same thing (sound) happened to me and it turned out my swinger bearings were all shot to hell witch made the chain and rear sprocket bind under load. Check it out by lifting the rear grab bar up and shake it side to side. Edited January 4, 2008 by savage420
blackandyellowshee
I checked my carrier and swingarm bearings and they are good. I will try that sharpie trick next time i go riding though.
