pweezy42
so i finally sucked up up and took defeat and dropped the shee off at a shop. dropped it off yesterday and 2.5 hrs of labor and shee is running. get this when we put the new stator in the wires were touching behind it , one connector was dirty on the on/off switch and a coil cap was bad. thank goodness for the shop cant wait 2 ride sunday
91banshee
you might want to invest in a manual , it will save you money , a banshee is pretty easy to work on, taking a banshee to a dealer is like paying someone to do your grocery shopping for you. just a waste of money . Washburn
True it is alot better narrowing down the problems and fixing them yourself rather than any shop that charges at least 40 an hour in labor. I had to solder my wires behind the stator and if I would have taken it to the shop it would have taken just as long to diagnose the problem which costs and all when you can do the exact same thing with some patience and a Clymers manual.
