okbasspro Posted December 28, 2007 Report Share Posted December 28, 2007 How do I tell what size my carbs are i know they are PWKS.They were on the bike when I bought it along with the other mods I have in my Sig.I dont think I went wrong for 1K I have had a few issues but with the help from BHQ members and the wealth of info on this board My bike will now stretch my arms out and make me giggle like a little kid well headed to the dunes HAPPY NEW YEAR to everybody. I see 72R and thats a PWK 39, PWK41 Pro-Series doesnt have a number. Looks like its time for the carb nuts to get in on this or Im sure Jim from Passions Racing would know. Maybe the 73R PWK 28's have the style of carb cap like all the other PWK's where it screws off. brian Posted December 29, 2007 Report Share Posted December 29, 2007 (edited) if you really wanna know, just measure the diameter of the thru bore of the carb (carb throat). if you are measuring in inches multiply the measurement by 25.4. that will be the carb size. Many Thanx for the info These carbs are on the bike the previous owner told me they did a fresh rebuild on the top and bottom end but I can not prove that.The bike runs awsome Just got back from Little Sahara Ok.To tell the truth I was going to buy a Chinese Clone 250 but I found the Banshee just before going to pick up the 250 and got it cheaper a choice I am very happy with.
