SandShots
stock bansee suspension sucks. you dont know what youre missing if youre not on aftermarket shocks and a arms. a better handling quad will get you through obsticles, smoother, faster, and safer. work on the suspension, you can be settup with about a grand going standard travel. jbooker82
Why are you telling him to get a dune port when he rides the trails? Sure it might pump out a little more HP than a aggresive trail port but the dune port wont be usable power. He needs the power down low and mid range. So a trail port should be better for him. A dune port helps the mid range and top end, where a banshee is intended to be ridden. You want torqe and low end get a 4 stroke. I really dont see the point in trying to make a top end machine have tons of bottom end.

badbrad
thanks for the replies. I am all kinds of trails, sometimes gas well roads or power lines so there is plenty of time to get full throttle, thats pretty much how I ride anyway, and once I burn up this stock clutch I plan on getting a nicer aftermarket one. i have rode nice bikes with suspension and its a huge difference thats why i was wondering, however i havent rode a ported and polished bike before... but they sound great. I dont really care about the low end power so much in a way because I knew I wasnt gona have too much buying a banshee anyway
MarineNYC
Dude I hear what your saying. Im up in the air as what kind of port I should get. I mainly ride trails but do tend to spend most of my time on open trails and dirt roads. I was advised to get a trail port but after hearing you guys now Im thinking on getting a aggresive dune port. Im confused guys. Which one will I be happier with?
moneybags
I would get shocks and a-arme, I love mine. Like said befor, put the power to the ground where it can be used.

JET 99
I already have LSR +2+1 a arms Blk widow shocks and Lsr Axle. I just dont know what to do about the motor work. i spent some time talking with a builder and he gave me what i needed for my riding type and style.. i have a all around power port job his own words(hehe). no BS thats what i got. ive got lt suspension its ok... the motor work jeff did was incredible it is on its second season no problems at all ... compression is still at 172 - 175... no problems with the clutch set up he has going... so talk to some builders and find out for yourself what it is your after... dyno and hp numbers dont matter if its wrong for what you do with the bike... baja trucks dont stand a chance against a dragster on a drag strip or vice versa... semper fi
