fastrthnu
I can get YFZ 450 shocks for 200 or less used but like new 05-07 or Elka recs for 450 or less new to spec. Are the 450`s that good for the money, or should I just spend the extra and get the recs? I cant make up my mind. I ride extremely hard gncc/woods, and moderate mx. Im going to be racing in a Florida circuit soon, and need to get some better gear.

Bansh-eman
i dont understand the reason guys put the 450 shocks on. imo they are garbage just like banshee shocks. get your self some works or elka recs. i prefer works cause elkas your paying more for the name
zach45
my 450 shcoks arent bad at all.... i got +3 arms and i bet they suck on stock...
Washburn
450 Shocks are not bad and can be converted into a dual rate shock and valved for you but by the time you do that your already in 350.00. Elkas are the way to go. I have them on mine and I love them. Definatly worth the cash.
zach45
true... but like me i dident wanna spend that much in 1 shot... so down the like ill pay the 250-350 for the new springs and vavled... if u got the means... go with elkas 100%

theeechozen1
How much did ya end up getting them for? .....I think mine were $442 for the dune editions from Eric @ Elka in Canada, they showed up in 8 or 9 days I think.
ClimbAnyHill
Elka's mos def! I picked up my yfz shocks for $180 new. HUGE improvement over shot stocks. I have these 450 shocks setup on the softest setting & can run thru all the ruts, chopped up sand & whoops in glamis no prob!!!!!! I prob won't have them revalved, most likely step it up to works!
