nunyabinness
no you can not use the same cable. the twist cable is longer than the thumb cable. i mean you can make it work (i did in a pinch) but it is not recommended.
jbooker82
Just leave the wires coming out of the tumb throttle unpluged. It is for the tors
13bturbofc
ok so i just went out to the garage and to check it out and now the throttle works fine?? i guess it was frozen. so how do i prevent it from sticking again so easily i mean i only rode it for like 5 min and it got stuck. and if i do decide to go back to the thumb throttle what cable do i need to buy? just the stock cable or do i need a special one because i have the TORS removed? sorry for the newb question lol
nunyabinness
you can get the correct cable from vito's, rockmountain atv, or F.A.S.T. (when he gets back up and running). but you have to get one for the TORSless caps. as for your freezing problem i have no idea, i have never had that problem. I lube my slides with Cable Life lube. It says for cables and throttle slides. Try that.
