Screaming Yellow Zonker
does it seem like it's running out of fuel? Or it just stops?
ohiobanshee
Did you change the flywheel and stator from the old motor to the new one? If you didn't you will have to,they have different pickup points.
jbooker82
You might check the stator out. Get a manual and see what the specs are for the stator.

Hilarious
Just a long shot but, there is a ground wire up around the reverse selector switch, lever dealy. Check that out and clean it up. I had that problem with mine and i also had a wire ground out near the steering stem. Check out all your wiring around the frame.
theshee
On the warrior my dad hadm the intake boot between the carb and the motor cot a small crack in it. It did the same thing, idled fine, but would die the second you tried to give it gas, changed that rubber boot and it was fine after that. May want to check it out. We would have never noticed it, but we went to work on it at night and started it in the shed and when my dad gave it gas i just happen to look right there and noticed some fire through the crack. fox_forma
i had 2 warriors a few years ago that did the same thing, it had to do with the reverse switch on one of them and the p-brake on the other. I remember having to go to the wires under the nose piece near the bars and splicing the brown and yellow wire together to solve the issue. I cant be positive if those are the right colors but I believe they are. Either way pull the fenders off and look at the wires and see if anything is cut or spliced. DuneRookie
It can certainly be a number of things. I would also check your air screw on the bottom of carb. If turned too far out it will also cut out and die as you described. Should only be 1 1/2 to 2 turns out max. Good luck.
