Paper ones are fine. Cascade does sell one that has a thin layer of steel in it. It is one big gasket for both cylinders. Bansh-eman Posted December 12, 2007 Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 the paper ones are cheap. and like said it will help keep your squish in check. now there are times that you need a thicker base gasket becasue your squish is too tight, but worry about that when the time comes. jbooker82 Posted December 13, 2007 Report Share Posted December 13, 2007 I just figured it would be more reusable I bought 6 base gaskets from a guy on ebay that cuts them. Paid 10-15 for the 6 gaskets. Doesnt really get any cheaper than that.
