foxracing350 Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 has anyone used these or heard if they are a good product http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/productD...4#vehicleSelect Quote
J-Madd Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 The powder coat on them is inpenetrable..you can' t hurt it... but the seal on the ball joint on one of mine tore easily. Not a big deal. I may be able to cut you a bargain on some, especially if you have some decent stockers to boot, since I've made that chassis a drag bike now..............I don't need the width. PM me if interested. 1/2 price if you send me your stockers. Quote
zach45 Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 MJ has them and loves them... the skid plates are good to have for them... Quote

I'll have a picture or two of a set here in about a week. BTW Greg since your not in a hurry the Thumb Throtle housing and Rear master cylinder are in line to be chromed, not polished Quote
black sunshine Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 I have the +2 Armadillo silver vein and can't complain, other than the ball joint boots ripping. Quote
foxracing350 Posted December 12, 2007 Author Report Posted December 12, 2007 ok i have one final qustion before i purchase my new front end would yfz 450 shocks work with these a arms?> the yfz a arms are like the same lenght as these +2s right? Quote
Bansh-eman Posted December 12, 2007 Report Posted December 12, 2007 its not the length you ave to worry about, its the shocks hitting the tabs. you have to mod the shock by cutting out some of the material. try doing a search, there was an artical on how to do it a ways back. id rather just buy some used shocks, the 450s are not that good if u ask me. better then banshee stockers yes, but not worth the money Quote

Michael Jackson Posted December 12, 2007 Report Posted December 12, 2007 yea those a-arms kick ass..big factor for me was the $70 skidplates, i havnt seen any other +2's offering skidplates with their arms, great powdercoat, light and super strong, been in a 40mph head on crash, held up great, ball joints bent, rocky mountain sent me 2 new ones FREE, couldnt be happier with them, good price and all chomoly, cant beat that, not cheap steal like alot of others that are under $500 Quote
Rock-46 Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 I could get you a set of these arms for about the same price as the armadillo. These are made of chromoly as well, and use the uniball setup. I have been runing mine for a couple seasons now, and a few friends also have them. They work great and have had no issues. Shoot me a PM if your interested. Quote
