flattrakker Posted December 9, 2007 Report Share Posted December 9, 2007 Ok just rebuilt her and it has 240 mains.. thats the only change to the carbs.. pipes, and pods. its in the single digits cold. and im about 800 ft above sea level.. the electrode is dark but the threads are silvery.. it runs great and idles fine... am i lean? how much richer do i have to go if i have to change it at all? am i fine running it like this for a day of riding? anyone have a plug chart? Michael Jackson Posted December 10, 2007 Report Share Posted December 10, 2007 im about same elevation, piped with single k&n in box with lid off, running 300 mains in winter, 4th clip down on needle and about 1.5 turns on air/fuel screw i had 240 mains with stock pipes and a air box lid on im not gona sit here and try and tell you how to jet YOUR bike.. but ive never heard of anyone runnin 240 mains on a piped banshee at sea level, especially in winter Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
