BansheeKid15
Its cheap insurance just to drain it out and put some new stuff in there... guarentee it will take less than 5 minutes. If i have gas with pre mix sitting for over 2 months (i use redline) i usually put it into the weed wacker/lawnmower gas can. Right now gas is still less expensive than a new top end... for now
Washburn
I live in PA too, Pittsburgh. I have a full tank in 927, and its been sitting for 2 weeks and its definatly already seperated. Im gonna drain it and put in fresh and save the fuel for my weedeaters. But if it was in there and I had no other fuel or a 5 gal tank already mixed Ide just shake the shit out of it untill it bonded back together. Its not going to hurt anything but Klotz and 927 do seperate in colder weather so I shake the bike around after it sits for the night or gets cold again. RIPRuck
Drain that big ass tank of yours.. I usually pull the line at the carb end and into a canister.
LS1Inferno
Drain that big ass tank of yours.. I usually pull the line at the carb end and into a canister. And they you hurry up and wait. I filled it up one time and realized i forgot to shake the tank before.

jbooker82
Acording to Klotz's tech sheet it stays in suspension. It doesnt seperate out. Supertechniplate Tech Sheet LINK Benol is the oil that seperates out at low temperatures. That is why it says do not use blow 35deg. Benol Tech Sheet LINK
foxracing350
does castor 927 seperate?
jbooker82
does castor 927 seperate? There web page says that is could seperate if mixed with low specific gravity race fuel or when used at 35 deg. So I would say yea. Caster 927 LINK josh
jbooker82
927 is a caster oil that is why it seperates out, Just like benol. Supertechiniplate has some benol caster oil in it but it is also 80 percent synthetic oil.
foxracing350
thanks for the info so i have it put away for the winter so i should prolly drain that out right?
jbooker82
I probably would because castor oil gets gummy when left standing. It would be ok in the tank but when the carbs dry up from sitting that is where the gum starts to form.
