bansheeman1988
I was wondering if anyone has thought of this yet?? since so many people have jetting and carb issues. Is there anyone out there that sells kits, i would love to see a review or a shee equipped with it. Would solve a lot of problems and would haul some ass!! There is a company out there called MRI (or something like that) that makes a mechanical FIS setup for a Banshee. The EFI systems are a bit of pain because you have to come up with a better charging system for the Banshee unless you are just running straight down a drag track.......... :geek:
bansheeman1988
Thats pretty cool to hear. That they acutually make a kit, i bet they cost and arm and a leg haha. I wanna see one with some pics of the kit.

I think you can shag them on PS or eBay for about half of that.
Whitbread
I believe the company is called MRD if i'm not mistaken. I rode an ice drag bike with that setup on it and it was a whole different animal. I've been toying with the idea ever since....damn student pockets. blowit
We have been toying with the production idea of economical EFI for the banshee for years as I have modded many systems with EFI and mechanical injection and they do run sooo much smoother and more responsive. The key is just what would the every day banshee enthusiast pay for an efi kit? Is it worth the efforts? Brandon

Cool thing is they sound like an F1 car with injection and NO plug fouling. Cool points don't pay for our engineering costs though. rubberneck
You should start a poll to gauge interest. I would drop 1k in a heart beat for a good EFI system. Would be too cool. Temp/altitude compensating. Just get on the bike and ride no matter where you are at, or what the weather is, no messing with anything. Easily worth 1k or more in convineince. Brandon I would think that it would cost alot more than $1k to come up with an FIS setup that any retard could use and/or tune. I have been using this a setup from these guy to run my Banshee engines on the dyno: http://www.pe-ltd.com/ The only problem is that it doesn't support running much over 20k rpms. I am sure some of you guys might ask why I am only using this setup on the dyno. I have two reasons: 1.)I am terrbile at tunig carburetors. 2.)I haven't come up with a way to implement a clean, reliable, and professional looking charging system on a banshee to support the FIS system.
