Posted November 30, 2007 Report Share Posted November 30, 2007 your gas tank is just like a gas can.......if it doesnt have a vent it isnt going to flow worth crap.....get an empty milk jug and fill it with water..turn it upside down and see how the water runs out.....now do the same thing and stab a hole in the jug after you turn it over and see the difference. Could this restrict gas from flowing? yes. if its not vented or the hose gets twisted your flow of gas will virtually be shut off. make sure your line is free and clear and that it vents properly or risk running the bowls dry and having more serious problems. This is a judgement call on your part.
