turbostang
I have water leaking out of a bolt that connects the inlet tube to the head. Is this normal? Thank you.
Dave I.
I dont remember if those bolts go into water or not but no its not normal to be leaking. There is an o-ring that seals the inlet to the head. Check and see if the bolt is tight, or take the bolt out and see if it has any thread sealer on it. jbooker82
Take the bolts out and put teflon tape on them.
dlnoss
Yes, check to be sure they are tight. If so and it still leaks, remove the bolts and put RTV or gasket sealer on the threads then put it back on. If you do the bolts one at a time, with the other bolt tight to hold the fitting in place, it will be much easier. Call me if that doesn't fix it. -David
