NYUK Posted November 11, 2007 Report Share Posted November 11, 2007 dirt in the threads will make you think the threads are buggered. i always spray the shit outta them with wd 40 then with a small wire brush. even the ugliest of rusty ass dirty flywheel threads are able to be to be cleaned. the puller is USUALLY what strips. the metal is softer than the flywheel.try cleaning them.
