hey guys this all refers to the banshee in my sig i'm thinking of 3 different things to do to it let me know what you think.

1. take graphics off and paint the plastics black.

2. powder coat my pipes black all the way to the tips.

3. rhino line all 4 rims black.

I want to do all 3 things here shortly, let me know what you think and if you have seen any of this done.

Thanks,

Kodie

all sounds cool, except the rhino lining the wheels. Just paint them or powder coat them.

if you powder coat your pipes the heat generated right out of the engine wont destroy the powder coat or is it that heat resistant that it wont effect it. cause i have a set of trinity pipes that i use heat resistant paint on but it pretty much burns and flakes off could i power coat the expansion chambers and they will remain black with out chipping ?

If I didnt have so many sets to do right now for fellow HQers, I would do them for you, but im too swamped. Tell him to use a good auto paint, flex additive, and clear it.

I agree Powder coat the wheels (Coming from someone who owns a powdercoat shop) Also I would think Rhino lining the wheels you might have difficulty keep the bead on the rim once you go to mount a tire, most rhino surfaces are fairly rough with inconsistancies. Just my $0.02 your banshee do it your way. Good luck to ya

Anyone ever rhino lined a frame before?

I think that might look pretty good.

I use to have one... it never looked good, got dirty and looked like crap, you could never get it true black again.

my $0.02 all the way to the tips, on my Brother in laws we did black and stopped at tips. WE didnt even mount them on the frame just held them in place and decided it looked like crap so we did the tips as well and installed on the banshee, THey are Powdercoated hi heat black and they still look brand new and are 10 months old and he rides the crap outta that banshee. they look sick too. Ive thought bought blasting my chrome off and doing the black on mine.
