samc
where do i hold it at?
Bansh-eman
some times you have to put the ball joint in and push against the arms or turn the wheels hard and get alot of pressure on the joint to hold it while you tighten the nut

samc
what about of i grip it with vise gripss??
Michael Jackson
you gona mess up the threads with vice grips to do the top ones, put a floor jack under it wioth a towel or somethin over it so it dont mess up threads, and jack it up on the ball joint so all the pressure is on the balljoint then tighten it with a wrench, same with the bottom,. just jack them up from under so the pressure is is on the balljoint and spindle should hold it still while u tighten nuts, also try all the different nuts on each balljoint by hand first, sometimes you can just switch them around a few times till you find ones that fit better together, make sure all the thrteads are clean first too

LiftdT4R
Stock arms? Ball joints are probably shot, this is one of the reasons I bought aftermarkets with removable ball joints. You can try holding them with vice grips if you can manage to get them in there and not ruin the boots, or like they said above, try turing the wheels all the way to one side.
