jaredvh
I know absolutely nothing about piping a banshee. Looking for some opinions as to whats the best. Was looking at FMF Fattys on ebay, are they any good? Is there any one pipe that makes the most power? Any other ideas to help me decide what I want? Bansh-eman
if you plan on doing any mods a good all around pipe is Toomey T-5. if you plan on staying stock t-6... there are alot of pipes out there that make more hp but more hp doesnt mean its the right pipe for you... its about where in the rpm range your pipe makes the power... for differant style of riding you need differant types of power... wood
i got the toomey t6's and there grate,i have some mods and the pipes still run hard.
Snopczynski
so woods then??? I would say T5 if you want a mid-top pipe, or pro circuits for a bottom-mid pipe. The dynoport is a decent mx style pipe for that also.

Deeooo
I have a set of 916's and my buddy had T-5's on his banshee and in my opinion the 916 had more power in bottom/mid and the power came on smoother. The T-5's pulled harder up top though. Our banshee's were both stock besides pipes,K&N and proper jetting. So I would think for trails or more on power off power riding the 916 is better. I am selling my 916's only because I ride sand dunes only now.
richybanshee
I had FMF Gnarly (bottom to mid power at low rpms) pipes in my 96 banshee, with K&N filter, without airbox lid, and a 15 tooth front sprocket. For trail riding this pipes proved to be excellent. Front end felt lite. My friend has Procircuit Pipes and they were also excellent for the trails. Tested some T5's and liked the sound, chrome look and the power was good from mid to top and gave the impression of pulling hard in the top revs. Before the introduction of the TR6's Toomey revield that their pipe made the least power compared to FMF SST, Procircuit, Paul Turner, and their new TR6's. DMC aliens where not in the comparison. For a stock shee, I know for sure this brands will satisfy your needs: FMF (Gnarly,Fatty, SST) Procircuit Toomey (T5,TR6) Not for stock shee: CPI Shearer I have CPI's in my stock 2005 banshee and they make power, better than stock, but not at the needed rpms. With pipes, k&n filter, shaved head (or cool Head) for added compression and advanced timing your shee will be way better than stock.
shanYE west
PT Hi-revs would be my choice but I like the 916's and T-5's also
wacko2000
I am a recreational rider, I had pro circuit on my first shee they where okay, know i have T5's and I love them, They sound the best also..
nunyabinness
i agree with SNOPCZYNSKI. i would either run the t-5's or the PC's. i am going to be running PC's on my shee just because i like the smoother power of the PC's. the t-5's have a more noticeable mid-range hit. for trails though i would suggest the PC's. RIPRuck
I am a recreational rider, I had pro circuit on my first shee they where okay, know i have T5's and I love them, They sound the best also.. I had the T5's and thought they sound sick until I heard and picked up a set of 916's. Sickest pipes I've heard on a banshee. Better bottom to mid power than T5's from what I hear. Will soon find out when I finish the build.
