pweezy42
i know this will be diff from most people but what are the best reeds to get and what the hell do they do?
fastrthnu
i know this will be diff from most people but what are the best reeds to get and what the hell do they do? prob vf3`s. they time air into the motor and a certain vacuum point, and trap it from escaping. like an intake valve. a better reed will open easier, and shut better and last longer without bending, warping, or breaking. A better one will also open more allowing more air/fuel in.

Washburn
thanks, any other suggestions fo rreeds i heard about boison or somethin The Boyesen Rad Valve reed setup looks like it might have a better design to it than VF3s but VF3s are far more common and proven in every style of motor you can think of. Thats why I went with the V Force 3s and I am extremely happy I made that choice. RAD VALVE http://www.ridegear.com/rg/item/F-38042/Bo...tock-87-06.html V FORCE http://www.procycle-online.com/reeds/vforce.htm Edit: You can find them cheaper on Ebay or one of the site sponcers could hook you up for a better price. These are the first sites with pics that poped up so I posted them.
jbooker82
Doesnt the rad valve just have 2 sets of reeds per cylinder like the stock cage. Vforce 2's and 3's have 4 sets of reeds per cylinder. 2 as many reeds equal same flow with out having the reeds opean as far. Wich means better throttle responce. Or all 4 opeaning more and flowing better than the 2 reed setups.
