Coupelx
Well with the close of the season here its time for a port. Right now, unported, it has a decent midrage with a wicked top end. it works well but i want something with a bit broader midrange with that same 'endless' top end. you know a good play port but still be able to go out and was some ass on the strip.. its alot to ask but that type of port would suit my needs best? what specific things do i need to ask about or ask for? GassRX ( http://www.gassrx.com/) will be handling the porting. Edited October 22, 2007 by Coupelx
black sunshine
Did you talk to these people yet? I haven't heard of them (your link doesn't work) but they should go over all this with you before they start carving on them. Probably some variation of a dune port is what you'll get. How did you decide on this company?
Snopczynski
If you want a torquey midrange port job I would talk to dyno dave from ilr performance. If you want something mx oriented I would call dan wade from patriot racing.
Coupelx
the guy is somewhat (same area) local to me. pretty popular around here and knows his stuff. he has helped me on a few small issues in the past over the phone. here is the link again. http://www.gassrx.com/ if it still doesnt work, google gassrx
FASTOYS
Well , IMO i would ask the guy doing the portwork. He will be able to give you a much better more accurate answer IF he is doing the job. Prolly a Strong MX or Play port...

RagunCajun
go check out flotek http://flotek.everything2stroke.com/ Tell him what you want and he will tell you exactly how the engine will be once done. I got pretty much the same port job you are wanting....almost. I have a VERY strong midrange and it pulls much harder than stock on the top end too. The powerband is also very broad and smooth but if you nail the throttle it does pull hard....that's assuming you get traction hehe. I got some video but they suck. I could have more power all over especialy low end but i like running 94 octane pump gas. Edited October 23, 2007 by RagunCajun
